Clothing beyond repair?

Fabric recycling in Gauteng: If you have any fabric left over from your projects (or even old clothes you no longer wear, or are beyond repair), I up-cycle them into new items, like bags. Really damaged ones I’ll cut into strips and create mats with it.

So don’t be shy – bring me your old fabric: I recycle jeans, clothing, bedding, toweling, curtaining, ties… you name it.

Let’s keep it out of landfill.

My first attempt at making re-usable makeup remover pads. (I broke my overlocker needle in the process and had to switch back to my sewing machine). I’ll probably make square ones in future.

Another bag from another pair of jeans – big enough for a laptop.
