Upcycled Hibiscus Bag

Handmade upcycled denim,  and cotton shoulder/hobo bag with shades of pink and purple. This incorporates an upcycled fabric-painted hibiscus panel.

The bag measures 26cm deep and 40cm wide, and the strap drop (from top of shoulder to top of bag) is 32cm. It has a magnetic snap closure. The inside purple pocket measures 13cm deep and 19 cm wide. The strap is denim and purple on the outside with metallic and gold thread accents. 

  • made out of 100% left-over scraps from various designers and dressmakers around the East Rand as well as a hand-painted fabric-painted panel purchased at a charity store. This fabric is usually sent to a landfill simply because it’s too oddly shaped to be made into clothing.
